Greetings, fellow wine lovers and thank you for visiting the Wine Tasters Unlimited (WTU) website.

Jacquie and I have a few events to relate since the publication of our book, “Wine Bar Reveries.” First, Rincon’s closed their doors in June, a result of the building being sold, and there are no plans at this time to reopen at a new location. Good-bye Shangri-La, you will be sorely missed. Secondly, Alegria’s has moved to their new location at 301 E. Main Street in Ventura.

Our next edition of Wine Bar Reveries, 2007-2008, will address these and other changes that may occur, including new wine bars. Additionally, WTU will expand the areas covered in that edition to include Ojai, Thousand Oaks, and Westlake Village.

Wine Bar Reveries is our first book and we want to make improvements as we continue with future editions. We would really appreciate hearing from our readers with any thoughts they have, positive or otherwise so that we can improve future editions.
